Okay you guys and gals, auditions for the first Brony Chorus song are now under way! Since this will be the first song, I’m going to start off kinda small to see how well the project is received and how well I can work on it. So here are some details and rules for you! (Sorry if it’s lengthy, but I want to get this thing just right)

Vocal Slots: 11

• Both male and female voices welcome!
• Your microphone must be good quality. (No puffs/popping/static etc)
• Please record your lines/auditions acapella (no music)
• Sing in the original key of the song as best as you can - everyone needs to sound the same in a group song! (unless you are providing some sort of harmony)
• I will accept existing examples of a winter wrap up dub you have already done
• You can send multiple versions of your audition if you want to try different pitches, but please try your best to sing in a pitch you are comfortable in

How to Audition

• Record the lines set in this video (If you cannot hit Twilight’s high notes, don’t worry, just do your best and send in what you can)
• Save your lines either as mp3 or wav (zipped folder is optional, but preferred)
• Please include the username or title that you would like to be referred to and credited as
• If there are certain notes that you cannot hit PLEASE let me know. I am willing to take on board people who cannot hit Twilight’s high notes, but I do need at least 5 people who will be able to keep in that range.
• If you would be willing to provide any extra vocals such as harmonies or backing vocals, please state so
• Send all auditions to kwvoice@hotmail.co.uk with the subject title “Brony Chorus Winter Wrap Up Audition”

It bugs me that so many people were willing to try “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic”, but those same bronies refuse to give “Puella Magi Madoka Magica” a chance.

I’m a fan of both shows, and if you hate grimdark you probably wouldn’t like Madoka at all, but still…

“The Last Roundup” made me want to quit watching ponies. Not because of the content of the episode. I actually really liked it a lot. However, the fan outcry over Derpy was - and continues to be - one of the most asinine things I’ve ever seen a fandom do. I hope that Hasbro/the Hub never gives us another shout out. I hope they ignore our existence until the end of the show and after. We don’t deserve it.

We’re not mature enough to handle a show made for little girls.

If anyone here is not mature, it’s you, for wanting to quit watching a show because some retards go around creating a fuss.

To me, it’s overhyped. 

Even if only the 4 followers I have will see this (and they probably won’t either), I seriously need to get this off my chest.

Love and Tolerance is a fucking retarded concept.

Basically, it’s saying “You can’t disagree with my opinion, and I am always in the right no matter what you say, otherwise you aren’t a true brony herp derp derp i’m a fucking idiot”. It annoys me endlessly whenever someone replies to me with “love and tolerance bro” or when there’s somebody on ponyconfessions that’s all like “u shud lov and toleraet!!1! some of us dont’t like r34 ponis and u shud loev and toleraet dat we haet u for doin it and then wel’l cal u hypocrits even thogh we totlly rn’t rigth?”.

It’s just too fucking much. By the Gods, if there’s one thing I hate more than hypocrites, it’s people being hypocrites about supposed hypocrites. Like the recent ponyconfessions post. And then absolute idiots like jazykuun show up to say “I AGREE! THIS GUY HATES PONY PORN, WHICH I DO TOO, SINCE EVERYBODY LOOKING AT PONY R34 ARE PEDOPHILES AND CREEPY, AND I HATE THOSE, EVEN THOUGH I HAVE RECENTLY REBLOGGED A LOLI PICTURE FEATURING NAKED LITTLE GIRLS WHERE I SAID “I KNOW THE ONE ON THE LEFT GUYZ” BECAUSE THAT TOTALLY ISN’T HYPOCRITICAL! ALSO, YOU GUYS ARE HYPOCRITES! AND YOU AREN’T ALLOWED TO HAVE AN OPINION THAT CONFLICTS WITH MINE!”.

Just stop it. Love and tolerance is dead. You can practice it, yes, but you can’t expect the same treatment from others. If you do, you are in for a surprise when the real world hits you like a fucking freight train, boom, straight to the face. Not everything is a giant hugbox. 

And even then, if you have such an enormous problem with rule 34 of ponies, just don’t look at it. It’s really that easy. It’s not like people are getting hurt. You can just turn a blind eye towards it, and boom, it’s gone.
